Guy Toubon

Toubon photo

Toubon was born on October 30, 1931, in Marseilles.

He started drawing and painting at an early age. He has chosen to learn from the school of life rather than in the Institutions, abandoning his studies early.

In 1961, he began to teach in the Administration of Instituts d’Universites, training Specialized Instructors (Marseillles, Montpellier). In 1956, Toubon started exhibiting his works and at the same time continue his professional activities in Avignon after being influenced by the Young painters of the “Atelier” (Group exhibitions, Ducastel Gallery, Avignon Prize).

In 1958, he had his first one-man show at the Gallery Philippe Ducastel in Avignon.
