Kyle Hanton

Hanton

After successful careers of teaching art at the college level and designing buildings for the healthcare industry I have at last returned to my beginning, to my own studio and the pleasures of working with my hands again, getting dirty and making sculptures.

I’m a maker of objects, figure based expressions of form and movement modeled in plaster and cast into bronze. My work follows in the footsteps of Erte, Brancusi, Marini and Moore and is inspired by dance, the circus and angel’s wings.
